The Total Eclipse is Coming to Yellow Springs!
The Village of Yellow Springs has developed a special website with loads of important information that will be helpful to anyone planning to visit Yellow Springs during the long celestial weekend April 5 through 8. Be sure to check eclipse.yso.com regularly for updates before you travel.
Together, the Village and the Chamber are creating a “Come Early, Stay Late” atmosphere for the crowds migrating toward the eclipse’s path of totality. With over 65 independently owned shops, galleries and eateries, Yellow Springs is EVERYONE’S FAVORITE PLACE. Here’s just a sampling of what we have in the works…

Millworks Business Center We will have public restrooms, food trucks, and other vendors. YS Home Inc will be charging for parking as a fundraiser. We can accommodate approximately 125 cars. They will also have eclipse glasses for sale. YS Brewery and Tuck N Red’s will be open and may have special promotions or entertainment. 305 N. Walnut St. |

YSSC building closing April 8 starting at 1pm. Join us at our property on the corner of Livermore and E. North College to share the eclipse experience. We will have helpful people to describe what is happening and provide special viewing glasses and equipment so that everyone can share the experience safely and comfortably. Bring a chair or blanket and dress for the weather. Plan to arrive by 2pm on Monday, April 8 so you can be situated to watch the transition. The full eclipse happens just after 3pm, but the experience leading up to it is fascinating, too. Snacks and drinks will be available. |
