Sat, April 18: Earth Week Kick-Off
8-10am: Spring Migration Bird Hike
We’ll search for migrants along the Little Miami. Departs from Grinnell Mill.
10am-1pm: Shred-It Paper Recycling Event
In partnership with the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce, Shred-It, a certified secure document disposal company, will be available to securely shred and recycle your confidential papers. Free. Glen Helen Parking Lot, 405 Corry Street
11am: Biodiversity Hike
We will explore the Glen’s while collecting photographic evidence of biodiversity. Weather dependent.

1-5pm: 5K/10K Race Packet Pick-Up
Enjoy a smooth start to race day. Pick up your packet and/or register for the Earth Day 5K/10K. Meet at Nature Shop.
1-2pm: Guardians of the Glen
Hour-long volunteer trail cleanup. Meet at Trailside Museum.
1-3pm: History of the Glen Hike
Join the Yellow Springs Historical Society to explore the rich history of Yellow Springs from prehistory through early commerce and education. $5. Register at yshistory.org. Meet at Trailside Museum.
3-5pm: Project Phoenix Showcase
Artistic activism is a key element of social protest and change. Witness the collaborative efforts of 20 Greater Dayton artists, sharing works of varied stylistic mediums – dance, spoken word, visual arts and more – crusading for climate action and justice. $5 suggested donation. Glen Helen Auditorium.
