Geminids Meteor Shower Viewing Event/Campout

Grab your telescope or binoculars, dress in layers, and experience the most spectacular meteor shower of the year!

More than 100 meteors are expected to fill the sky in one hour. Viewing will begin at 9pm. The height of the shower will take place around 12am.

Mindful overnight camping is permitted, but not required. Camping information is available upon registration. Additional camping, with fewer restrictions, is available at John Bryan State Park.

* Evening includes a guided hike of the Pine Forest
* Attendees will gather around the fire for warmth and fellowship
* Antioch Astronomers will be on hand to share information on the Geminid Meteor Shower

Registration is required for this event. Glen Helen Members, Antioch Astronomers Members, and Antioch College Students, $5, non-members $7. Must be 18 or accompanied by a legal guardian.
