Toxic Beauty Records is hosting a Midnight Release party for the new PHOEBE BRIDGERS album LOST WEEKEND this Thursday Aug.13th. We’ll be opening both our upstairs AND downstairs shops at 11:00PM (Thursday evening) and will start playing the new album shortly after. Once we hit Midnight (Friday AM), we’ll start selling the album UPSTAIRS.
We’ll have some Phoebe swag to give away during the event. And Phoebe’s gone all out on this release so there’s some pretty sweet swag to giveaway starting at 11PM(**While Supplies Last**). We’ll have copies of the new album available on LP (Black Vinyl, Indie Exclusive Color Vinyl), CD and and a few cassettes. Along with those editions, we’ll be selling a special “Zodiacal Light“ Variant that only stores participating in the Midnight Sale will be selling.
QUANTITY IS LIMITED so make sure to get here early. We will start taking names for what folks want to purchase around 10:45PM while in line so everyone knows what they’re purchasing before Midnight.
We’re planning on having around 120 copies TOTAL COPIES of the album in the different Media (Black LP, Indie LP, Zodiac Light LP, CD & Cassette) so we hope we’ll have enough so everyone get’s a chance to purchase a copy.
** Since we are a smaller store, we might hit capacity in both our upstairs and downstairs rooms. If that happens, we’ll have folks line up outside and will try to play the album on smaller bluetooth speaker. We have more copies of the album than we are allowed people in the shop so if you’re outside, you’ll still be able to purchase the album. We’ll continue to take names while we play the album if folks keep showing up and will let anyone know if we’ve sold out of any of the options. We’ll stay open until 12:30 or we run out of the album. **
There also a Super Secret surprise we’ll be selling but no announcements about that allowed. You’ll just have to come to a Midnight Sale to find out what it is.
