 od\n\nAges: 18 +\n\nDiscover the thrill of Raku Firing! This one day hands
  on experience workshop allows students to glaze a pot made by skilled stu
 dio staff\, load it into our propane fueled top hat raku kiln\, watch as p
 ots reach 1900 degrees and be part of the process as we pull them\, glowin
 g orange from the kiln! The pots go straight into post firing reductions c
 hamber filled with flammables where the magic of raku really happens. By t
 he end of the evening\, all the pots will be finished and ready to go home
  with you!\n\nSmoke\, flame and fun\, this is a great one time event for a
 nyone\, even if they have never touched pottery before.\n\nThis workshop i
 nvolves high temps and a lot of smoke. Masks will be provided\, but studen
 ts must make sure they are wearing close toed shoes and have hair covered 
 or secured to participate in the firing. It is not recommended for anyone 
 with severe asthma or smoke allergies. Students will not be handling the h
 ot pots from the kiln directly.
