The 365 Project will offer its annual Yellow Springs Black Food Traditions walking tour on Saturday, August 29th departing at 1pm from the Mills Park Hotel, 321 Xenia Avenue. The tour will highlight many of the Village locations associated with food prepared in following Black food traditions. The tour (approximately 90 minutes) will be led by two Yellow Springs middle school students, trained by 365 Project volunteers, and will be free courtesy of sponsorships from many local businesses.
The tour will be followed by a Black Food Traditions meal at approximately 2:30pm at The Coretta Scott King Center, 781 Livermore Street at E. Center College St. Cost for the meal is $15 per person.
