Coffee with the Cops: Building Community One Cup at a Time

The Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our new limited series program, “Coffee with the Cops.” This initiative is designed to foster a stronger relationship between our local business community and the dedicated members of the Yellow Springs Police Department.

What is “Coffee with the Cops”?

“Coffee with the Cops” is a unique opportunity for business members to meet and engage with the new and seasoned faces within the Yellow Springs Police Department, including officers, resource personnel, and dispatchers. Over a casual cup of coffee, you’ll have the chance to get to know these individuals as the people they are out of uniform. Learn about their backgrounds, interests, and what brought them to serve in Yellow Springs, while sharing your own stories and perspectives to build a more connected and understanding community.

Why Participate?

  • Strengthen Community Ties: Engage in meaningful conversations and get to know the officers on a personal level, fostering mutual respect and understanding within our community.
  • Enhance Communication: Open dialogues that promote understanding and cooperation between local businesses and law enforcement.
