End-of-Life Community Forum

February 9, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Monday, February 9, 7 pm @ Rockford Chapel: End-of-Life Community Forum:
What Is Really Important at the End of Life?

Participants will consider what is really important to them now, and what will be really important to them as they approach the end of their lives. Attendees should bring something to write on as they record their responses and share them in small, confidential groups. Those willing to share openly in the larger group may then do so.

The program and discussion will be led by Rubin Battino, LPCC, who will also conduct a closing healing meditation on the topic. The meeting will be held at Rockford Chapel on the Antioch campus on Monday, February 9 at 7:00 p.m. It is open to the public.

Monthly meetings of the End of Life Community Forum take place at 7:00 pm in the Rockford Chapel on the Antioch campus. The group has been meeting for over 2 years. Newcomers are welcome. Topics include Living Wills, Advanced Directives, Final Exit Network, Compassion and Choices, Advance Planning, how to start the conversation with loved ones, and much more. Come and learn about this timely topic that concerns us all, no matter what age.

Free and open to the public.
