Asher Delamatre is a multi-media artist, currently creating new textile designs from recycled materials like denim and lace. He is inspired by street artists and also informed by his practice as a welding student. Asher is a core member of the MAZU Crew and has also helped bring young musicians to the space.
Join us on Friday Aug 21 to view his fashion pieces between 5-9 pm, with a culminating fashion show outdoors from 8-9 pm. MAZU will be open til 8 pm, but music, sweets and beverages will continue until 9 pm.

Pondering something fun, Jennie, a Yellow Springs native who works at Singapore Seahorse Coin Jewelry, began to dream up a miniature Singapore Seahorse Coin Jewelry shop to surprise the owner Nicole with and thus began a 5 month project using cigar boxes, like jewelry is displayed in at the shop, as the miniature rooms for the shop!
