Artist and shop owner Colette Palamar will demonstrate a variety of Gelli Printing techniques, including the use of live botanicals. Each demonstration takes about 10 minutes. She will make a print just for you! The created prints are $5 or free with any shop purchase.
Colette is the owner and creative spirit behind Myriad. She has a PhD in Applied Philosophy and an MFA in Fine Arts. Her work centers on explorations of the relationships between humans and the natural world.

Meet chef and kintsugi artist Roland Eliason, who will be displaying and selling his works of kintsugi, the centuries-old Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending fractures with lacquer. Chef Roland will also be presenting a summer salad on the MAZU menu in the style of “empty bowls” as a fundraiser for the local soup kitchen “Who’s Hungry?” Pick out your favorite bowl made by a local potter, enjoy Roland’s salad, and take the bowl home with you. MAZU will be open til 8 pm, but music, sweets and beverages will continue until 9 pm.
